A Letter to San diego

I retired from San Diego’s 10 News as the Troubleshooter to run for the 7th District Council Seat because San Diego needs the Troubleshooter at City Hall.

I am proud of my Troubleshooter record of solving consumer problems and uncovering scams, especially those against senior citizens. During the past 22 years, I had the opportunity to solve problems, expose corruption, protect consumers and taxpayers, and influence public policy.

I am an outsider, not in the “old boys’ network.” I’ll stand up for individuals and families instead of big special interests. I will disclose who I meet with every day, why, and who that person represents. No sweetheart deals for lobbyists and special interests under the Troubleshooter’s watch.

San Diego needs an independent financial and performance audit of every city department to find waste and ensure our tax dollars are being spent as promised. We also need a consumer protection department at City Hall. I’ll be your Troubleshooter at City Hall!

Our city leaders need to be problem solvers.

San Diego needs Marti Emerald as our Troubleshooter at City Hall!
